"I hired Max Electrical Services to install an outdoor outlet on my back patio to power some string lights, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. My electrician took the time to walk through where exactly I wanted it placed and talked through the best way to run the wiring to minimize visibility. Really appreciated that he made sure I was comfortable with the plan before getting started. The work itself was clean and professional, and the outlet works perfectly. What really impressed me was how helpful he was beyond just the electrical work. While he was here, my patio door handle completely broke off (totally unrelated to his work—someone else in my house broke it). He gave me some informal advice about what replacement part I’d need. Then when he had to run to the home improvement store to grab something for the outlet installation, he offered to pick up the door handle for me too. That kind of thoughtfulness and going the extra mile was great to see and highly appreciated since I had a busy day dealing with kids before a trip. "(Update: Our 58 year old house breaks sometimes. Recently we needed a way to simplify switches, and DJ came up with a clever solution. Then a high voltage wire had to be replaced. He worked quickly and diligently, even coming over on the weekend. DJ was smart, easy to communicate with, and pleasant. The bill was not as high as a lot of companies would have charged.) DJ Cooke from Max Electrical Services left our house so much better than it was before. He replaced two 50 year old bathroom combo heater/light fixtures, figured out why our outdoor lighting system (which had been installed 15 years ago) wasn't working, fixed it and also made it much simpler to use. He explained everything patiently. The charges were lower than I expected even though it took two guys many hours to fix everything on our list (switches, outlets, other light fixtures...). When I offered to write a review, DJ said the owner, Mr. Maxwell, was unusually knowledgeable and that he was a great guy to work with. I would recommend Max Electrical Services to anyone."

"These guys are our "go-to" electricians! They have been wonderful over the years with so many of my projects. They have changed countless lights and light switches, they have added lights that weren't there before (one new overhead inside and one outdoor in our covered outdoor patio) moved countless plugs and light switches because they aren't in the spots that they need to be. And they also did a conversion so we can plus in a portable generator and power our house for those times the Texas grid fails. They installed a big chandelier in our two story entrance area, they added and upgraded our outdoor lighting.
