Full Canopy Tree Care

We hired Full Canopy to come do a diagnosis on some trees in our yard to determine whether we needed to take them down. Their arborist was great at diving into the level of detail I was interested in and was able to communicate very well. We’ll definitely call them for free services in the future.

Excellent arborist!  Noticed leaves on my live oaks were discolored & I panicked thinking it might be oak wilt.  I looked at the Tx Oak Wilt website & found  Full Canopy Tree Care.  I called & not only did he answer the phone, Brennon Magee, the owner, arranged to get by and look at my trees the very next day!  He was very pleasant & knowledgeable, explaining what’s going on with my trees which thankfully wasnt oak wilt! Mr Magee looked at all my trees & offered advice for long term care. It is so very reassuring to find an expert arborist with multiple certifications & long time experience who is responsive & also a great teacher.

The team at Fully Canopy were excellent. Brenan and his crew were extremely knowledgable and went above and beyond to take care of our trees. We've had both tree removals and tree treatment, both services were done with expert care. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic experience with Brennon and his team at Full Canopy Tree Care at our home in Georgetown. Brennon came out for an intial consult. He is super knowledgable and you can tell he has a passion for what he does. Also what I really liked is he asked me what I wanted to do and then asked me about my budget for the project. He did exactly what was needed at my price point.

He also just wants to help people. Before doing any tree trimming he noticed that my large oak tree in the front yard and our sewer line that was running underneath the tree. He advised I get the line scoped to make sure there weren't any roots in there. Well, there were roots in there! Before he did any work he easily saved me thousands of dollars in repairs. That's the type of guy he is.

His passion is backed up by his work.  His crew came out and trimmed and pruned my large oak tree. They also removed a tree in my yard, grinding the stump and cleaning around the empty area. They also used an air spade around my larger tree to help promote the root health and tree structure. Brennon gave me some basic instructions on how to returf my yard and some suggestions for some landscape design that I could think over.

Using Full Canopy Tree Care was a no-brainer. Simple, straight forward, super professional and did the work quickly within my budget. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my tree needs!

You know that feeling you get when you know you’re talking to someone who really knows what they’re talking about? This is how I felt after talking to certified arborist Brennon Magee for Full Canopy Tree Care when he was at our house giving us an estimate for the routine tree trimming and the other stuff we needed. And the services he and his crew performed were excellent and reasonably priced.

We our new homeowners and, after three years, we decided we needed to start trimming our live oak trees here in Round Rock. We read that it’s highly recommended to hire a certified arborist for this kind of thing. Reviews were great, so I called them.

When Brennon arrived, one of the first things he noticed was the poor tree trimming one of our neighbors had just done (after I casually mentioned they had just gotten their trees trimmed), and this wasn’t some kind of BS—you could tell it was the kind of spontaneous thought that would naturally occur to a certified arborist upon seeing a bad job. Dude really cares about the long-term health of trees, and this is real clear based on my convos with him and his crew and the quality of their work. He’s like a tree doctor.

Anyway, we ended up also asking him to remove some annoying smaller trees and other plants, and he explained exactly how he was going to first mostly remove them except for bits of the trunks, paint the stumps with his special herbicide, and return later to finish the removals. This, he explained, would result in these things likely not growing back but without using an excessive amount of herbicide.

I feel a lot more knowledgeable about live oak trees after speaking with Brennon. I feel a lot better now that the trees are farther from my roof and not inviting animals to hang out on the roof. I feel like you feel when you know you hired someone to do a job and the job just gets done proficiently without any kind of problem or BS. Full Canopy Tree Care is definitely now on my roster of people I call for things this house needs. I can’t see how you could do better.

I moved to Leander about two years ago. I called Full Canopy Tree Care to get an estimate on trimming my trees. While looking at my trees, the Arborist noticed that my neighbor’s trees had oak wilt. Luckily, my trees were not infected. He established a plan of action and treated my trees.
Full Canopy now takes care of my trees yearly. They monitor for the oak wilt, prune and fertilize.
My trees are healthy and look great. I strongly recommend Full Canopy Tree Care.

Brennon came out to our house just before the ice storm at end of January 2026 to provide insight and recommendations to keeping our trees healthy during and after the storm. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and honest, which is so hard to find these days. We will definitely be using Full Canopy Tree Care and recommend them for anyone who wants to have healthy, beautiful trees.

These guys are awesome! They came out the day after a huge storm and removed a tree that fell on our house. Then they followed up and removed the root a little bit later. They do great work, the bill was accurate and whole team is highly recommended.

I certainly give a 5 star rating for the work that Full Canopy does not only for the quality of the tree-trimming and clean-up (they always leave my property cleaner than when they arrived!), but also for how well the crew pays attention to my questions and my requests, including working within my budget. But through the years I've learned that the trimming team is merely reflecting the character of Brennon, the owner.

Two specific examples come to mind:

1) During the ice storm of 2021 I had significant damage to my trees. I texted Brennon immediately so I could get on his schedule. Because I knew he would be overloaded with emergency jobs I didn't wonder when he didn't call back that day. But it was two days later when Brennon called asking me if my trees needed attention. He hadn't received my text because I had sent it to a landline number!! Brennon didn't need the extra job, but he called me because I had been a customer of his for years and he wanted to check on me and my trees. He did work me into his busy schedule - which included removing a heavy branch that broke with such force that it put a crack in my metal roof. Brennon also worked with me on the insurance providing what was needed so that the claim went through with no problems.

2) When I mentioned to Brennan that I had bought a mini, hand-held, electric chain saw, he didn't try to talk me out of using it even though I am a 75 year old widow and had no experience in using a chain saw. Instead, he immediately said he was going to give me some lessons on how to use it safely. And he did! In spite of what I am sure was an overloaded schedule Brennon didn't assign the task to one of his crew, but he personally took the time to make sure I knew how to care for and safely use the tool.

I live in a neighborhood with lots of live oaks, so I regularly have business cards stuck in my front door or people knocking at my door to let me know about their tree trimming service. But I have no need of those. I already have the top of the line arborist who cares about his customers as well as our trees. You can't do better than Brennon and Full Canopy Tree Care for that!

We have trusted Full Canopy with our trees for 11-years and have never been disappointed. We live in Anderson Mill and our yard has several older, very large trees in it that Brennon is able to keep trimmed nicely and in good health.  Once when our sons were younger, a storm knocked one of the upper limbs of our large oak tree loose, but it was caught on a few other branches and we couldn't get it down ourselves. I was hesitant to let the boys play out back until it was taken care of - Brennon made a special trip out just to remove that one branch for us so our guys could play safely outside again.  I am so grateful to feel like we're a part of Full Canopy Tree Care family.  I heartily recommend them to anyone in our area.
